Missions

Why are missionaries often placed in a neatly constructed, defining box? Most often, if they do not fit within our definition of what we think a missionary is, then something must be wrong with them.

God continues to re-define missions. The question has been proposed, “Where exactly does a missionary fall within the list of five-fold ministries?” Actually, a missionary can be any one of the five ministries listed in Ephesians 4. A missionary can do the work of an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher. The key is: the person's gift and anointing. This directs the mission set before the person that calls himself/herself a missionary.

If the mission of Legacy of Worship, Int'l and Bill and Lynda Faught were compared to one, large river, it would be a river that has five tributaries. Bill and Lynda have seen clear evidence of all five ministries listed in Ephesians 4, for they participate in the following: provide apostolic oversight and covering to some churches; have been used to prophetically speak into the corporate heart of nations; carry an evangelistic or revivalist mantle that stirs up the Church wherever they go; provide pastoral care to pastors and worship pastors; and release revelation truth, as they teach the Word of God. There's is worship missions! Ever heard of such a thing?

An Encouragement:

Missions is a vital part of Legacy of Worship, Int'l. We're excited that the re-defining of missions has many opportunities for church members to take short-term trips. Every member of the Body of Christ should take at least one mission trip in his/her lifetime. Take the challenge!

Do you need someone to set up such a trip? Legacy of Worship, Int'l will be taking several trips each year into various corners of the globe. These trips will be posted on our itinerary page. If you desire to go, you may make a request on the contact page. We reserve the right to conduct an interview, then pray about it. You will be contacted with an answer. However, if the destination is too dangerous or too many have already signed up, you'll be contacted and given the option of having your name placed on the next trip list. Can't wait!
